Some items don't fit in a box — and they definitely don't fit in your friend's minivan. Up & Out specializes in moving oversized, heavy, and unusual items that require special handling: pool tables, hot tubs, safes, gym equipment, wine cellars, and more.
Pool tables require full disassembly — felt removal, slate separation, leg removal, and frame breakdown. Our technicians handle the complete process and reassemble with precision leveling at your new location. We carry slate clamps, leveling shims, and felt-stretching tools. Hot tubs need to be drained, disconnected from electrical, and transported on reinforced flatbeds. We coordinate with electricians for reconnection.
Gun safes, commercial safes, and vault doors are some of the heaviest items we move — ranging from 500 to 5,000+ lbs. We use specialized safe dollies with stair-climbing capabilities, reinforced ramps, and multiple-crew teams trained in safe-moving protocols. Floor protection is critical to prevent damage from the extreme weight.
Other specialty items we handle regularly: home gym equipment (treadmills, ellipticals, Pelotons, weight racks), wine cellars and refrigerated wine cabinets, marble tabletops and stone counters, medical equipment, arcade machines, and large sculptures.
